Q - I'm trying to use your software so that I can be reminded to apply a pain patch for my mother every 60 hours. Why is "Apply Occurrence" ghosted out on the task window? when trying to set up a task? I want it to show up on the calendar highlighted somehow. Help please.
A - Create the task, choose the "hours" occurrence. Click on the yellow "i" next to the Hours on the right. Make sure that you tick all the days of the week. Leave the valid hours from 0 to 23. Set the alarm date and time when you last would have had the 60 hour prompt. This must be in the past. You'll see why just now. Then click on the ok button to save the task. The task scroll window should show immediately at the bottom right of your screen. Click on the text part to open the task. Now the Apply Occurrence will be enabled. Click on it and it will increment the time and date with 60 hours. Click on ok to save the task again. In 60 hours the window will popup again the same way as it just did. TaskPrompt doesn't create calendar entries for every 60 hours from now until end of time. It will just increment with whatever you specified in the occurrence. In your case with 60 hours. So only the next 60 hour's alarm date & time will be visible on the calendar

Q - I can't print using letter size paper.
A - The only way around this, and I know it might be a pain, is to install a product like Cute PDF writer which is free. You print the A4 page from TaskPrompt to the cute PDF print driver and then print from the PDF file. Open the file in Acrobat reader, change the print defaults to letter and print from there. The reason for doing this is that TaskPrompt doesn't support the letter paper size only A4. I know this is a short coming but the print module I am currently using doesn't support letter and to change it will take a lot of work. It is a total re-write and I don't have the time doing this right now. You can download Cute PDF from: http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp or if the link doesn't work search for it in Google.
