The following settings are available:
If Autosave (Last Used & Times Used and unsaved Hotkeys) is checked then HotKeyz will save the 'last used' and 'times used' and unsaved Hotkeys every 5 minutes. Auotsave will not save if the Hotkey Add or Edit window is open.
Save settings and hotkeys to &path (VISTA, PORTABLE, XP) will save the macro and ini files to either the application data or install folders.
Save Window Positions & Column Widths will save the main application window's screen position, width, height and the list view's column widths to the HotKeyz.ini file.
If Automatically check for a new version is checked then HotKeyz will check for a newer version on the web when it starts.
If Add HotKeyz to Windows Startup is checked then HotKeyz will automatically start every time your Windows starts.
If Disable Windows hotkeys is checked then the standard Windows hotkeys will be disabled and you can assign your own custom commands to these hotkeys.
If Double Click executes hotkey is checked then the selected hotkey will be executed when you double click on it or press the enter key. If it is unchecked then double clicking or pressing enter will edit the hotkey.
If Esc Key Minimize HotKeyz is checked then the Escape key will minimize HotKeyz to the system tray. If it is unchecked it will exit HotKeyz.
If Hide HotKeyz when executing a hotkey is checked then HotKeyz will be minimized / hidden when you press any hotkey combination. Unchecked will keep it open.
If Minimize HotKeyz when choosing Close from System Menu is checked and you click on the window's top right system menu (X) to close HotKeyz it will minimize it. Use File, Exit or right click on the tray icon and choose close to exit HotKeyz.
If Show hotkeys in tray (when right click on HotKeyz tray icon) is checked then the HotKeyz Tray Icon will be visible otherwise it will be hidden
If Show toolbar is checked then the Main Toolbar (New, Edit, Delete etc. buttons) in HotKeyz will be visible. If unchecked then it will be hidden.
If Show tray icon is checked then the HotKeyz tray icon will be visible in the tray. Clicking on the tray will either show or hide HotKeyz. Right click will give more options.
Click on the Volume Display Settings to see the various volume display options. This screen will customize the way the volume level on the screen is displayed when you change the volume by pressing your hotkey. |
