Paste predefined text into a windows control like an e-mail signature when composing a new e-mail. Or paste a special character like ©. The text that you want to paste must be added in the parameter tab.

Use the following parameters:

[DATE] will paste current date in the format specified in the control panel regional settings i.e. 2006/04/09

Specify your own date format:
